What a great book! I loved the Falling Knife chapter and also the RESHE method of filtering for best shares. In fact, using RESHE I managed to achieve gains of over 40% in individual shares in months. The average seems to be between 40-120% though one of my shares shot up over 200%. The only problem was I had to manually study the balance sheets for shares on Yahoo that met the RESHE criteria which took months. I originally used ycharts to scan for RESHE shares but with their cheapest annual subscription costing $480 I didn't stay for a second year. In the end I hired a programmer to create scanning software for me which scans for RESHE using the free Yahoo website and that's what I use now. It's a bit clunky but it works so if you're interested in the scanning software, let me know. RESHE, in my opinion, is one of the best fundamental methods for finding 'explosive shares' I know of. Thank you Dr Samir Elias for such a great book and ingenious trading setups!!

This book actually made me challenge my thinking. It is a refreshing read with ideas that I have not seen before. I am learning to proactively see trading moves that I would previously have glossed over. It is full of chapter after chapter of creative, well put together, stand - alone trade setups supported by actual market examples and laser sharp entry and exit signals.
Whether you choose trade volume based breakouts, Momentum shifts, reverse price swings, falling knives, RESHE stocks or one of the many other setups presented you will be handsomely rewarded, provided you (1) Pick the setup that fits your own trading approach; short term, position or long term (2) Put the required effort to learn how to scan for stocks meeting the criteria for the setup you choose and follow through on picking the best candidates.
You will be surprised by how effective many of the trading ideas are in narrowing down stock candidates often to less than fifty giving the trader ample time to carefully check each candidate and pick the best.
My favorite setup was the RESHE system since it freed me from having to laboriously study company reports to identify fundamentally strong stocks. With this system identifying highly profitable stocks has become much more straightforward for me, especially since it is easy to scan for such stocks using YCharts . One of my recent winners was Trinity Industries identified by the RESHE system late October 2013 near $40 eventually moving above $70 within four months.
Since RESHE stocks are usually held for several months I found the best way to determine when to exit is to use either C/D Price divergence or reverse price swings .
This is one of the the latest additions to our trade group book collection and is in my opinion one of the best. Our trade group has a collection of books by the most well known authors in the field, however this book stands apart in many aspects. The book has a strong focus with a clear objective on showing the trader how to use specific high probability setups to make money. There are no wasted pages on fluff such as author anecdotes, psychobabble,and so on. Most of the setups in this book are unique and creative to the point where I can easily say that I have not encountered them in other books often written by experts in the field. As many other reviewers mentioned, each setup is supported by multiple examples with clear entry and exit signal. This makes it straightforward to recognize a profitable trade by comparing a trade candidate stock charts to those in the book. Clear entry and exit signals are provided for each setup with multiple exit strategies often presented. Last but not least is the ability to implement most of the strategies provided,without purchasing any special software or expensive author developed programs.
To demonstrate the effectiveness of the setups in this book to spot explosive moves, I will mention one of our latest trades. Chapter 7 “Explosive profits from small price bars” signaled an entry into DHRM
near $ 2.40 in late September 2013 . An exit in late February 2014 near $11.00 was signaled using reverse price swings for a profit of almost 500 percent.
This book is organized in a way that allows the trader to pick the setup that suits their trading style best. In my case my main focus was the chapter on " Explosive profits using small price bars". During my trading years I noticed that almost every stock that broke out delivering strong short term profits traded in a narrow range prior to the breakout. The problem was timing the entry which was a challenge since the compressed range trading period can last for months. Using this chapter I was able to time the entry on several stocks that broke out recently such as OPK as well as others within no more than two weeks of the breakout. Such breakouts usually deliver substantial profits of twenty to one hundred percent within days. My method entails using a simple scan to identify such stocks and then place the best candidates on a watch list waiting for the trade signal as described in the book
